General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is struggling to figure out what his future holds. He only returned to Port Charles because he thought he was going to help his sister, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens), live. However, once Lucky’s liver wasn’t considered viable to donate, he’s been battling self-doubt. He doesn’t think there’s any reason for him to remain in Port Charles, despite the protests of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Elizabeth and Lucky have a son, Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy), who is a young man on the brink of adulthood. Before Lucky’s recent return, he hadn’t seen Aiden in about a decade. So, it’s no wonder Lucky was surprised when Aiden came out to him as gay. Lucky was happy that Aiden trusted him enough to share this, and the two of them have been getting closer. If Lucky leaves again, Aiden will be devastated, and Elizabeth doesn’t want that to happen. She made sure Lucky knew exactly how she felt about him leaving.
One thing that could keep Lucky in town is his sister, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens). Lulu is about to wake up from a four-year-long coma, and she’ll need all the support she can get once she realizes how much time she’s lost. But even with Aiden and Lulu both needing him, Lucky will still need to find a purpose to keep him in Port Charles.
Lucky recently discussed this matter with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). After their conversation, Sonny made a mysterious phone call to help Lucky one way or another. Lucky won’t stay if he doesn’t feel like he’s doing something meaningful. Perhaps Sonny contacted Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to see if Curtis needs someone to run The Savoy now that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is out of town. Or, perhaps Sonny will ask Carly to let Lucky run Kelly’s Diner. It’s even possible Sonny asked Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to offer Lucky a partnership in a new private investigation firm.
There are many possibilities for Lucky, as long as he’s open to them.
