The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Brooke has good intentions. She intends to help Ridge as well as the Forrester family. For Brooke, it is not right for Carter and Hope to take over Forrester Creations. Forrester Creations originally belonged to the Forrester family, and the two of them have done too much.
Brooke wanted to help Ridge and make Hope’s actions seem somewhat lighter. However, when she met and talked to Ridge, his reaction was unpleasant. It was clear that Ridge did not trust Brooke. He didn’t believe that Brooke became the CEO of Forrester Creations to help him. In short, he still criticized Brooke and spoke ill of Hope, which Brooke could not accept.
Why did Ridge become such a petty and stubborn person? Brooke then slapped Ridge and left angrily. She really had nothing more to say to him. Her efforts might not be recognized by Ridge, but he had no right to insult both her and her daughter.
Not to mention Ridge’s betrayal of Brooke when they were still together—she was willing to forgive Ridge when he slept with Taylor. This was not the first time Ridge went to Taylor after an argument with Brooke. But Ridge insulting her daughter was unacceptable.
Last time, Brooke had not yet settled things clearly with Ridge, and now Ridge continued to maintain the same attitude. In short, Brooke no longer wanted to be involved with the Forrester family. There was no way she would risk betraying Carter to get Forrester Creations back for Ridge.
Brooke met with Carter and said she didn’t want to be the CEO of Forrester Creations anymore. She just wanted to be a normal employee like before. Forrester Creations is now in a sensitive period, and the CEO position requires a lot of responsibility and fairness. Brooke felt she was under too much pressure and thought she wasn’t qualified to hold the position.
She also wanted to focus on design rather than managing other company matters. This made Carter regretful. He felt Brooke was very suitable for the position. Brooke’s recent successes were seen and recognized by everyone. However, Carter probably wasn’t Brooke, so he couldn’t fully understand her psychology.
Carter would need to find someone else to replace the CEO position—or perhaps he would take on the role himself.
