When Leo unexpectedly stopped by Marina’s place with a batch of fresh scones, she wasn’t in the mood to celebrate. Sensing something was wrong, Leo pressed her for answers. Hesitantly, Marina admitted she had walked in on Belle with someone and, in her shock, accidentally revealed a name she had promised to keep secret. Leo reassured her that it was okay—sometimes, you just need a friend to confide in.

Marina explained that the situation had been incredibly awkward. Belle’s companion had quickly left once Sean arrived, making it clear that something had happened. Marina felt bad about being so direct, but Leo, ever the supportive friend, reminded her that he was once a gossip columnist—secrets weren’t new to him. Marina, however, jokingly pointed out that she was his patient, not a news source.

Shifting the topic, Leo excitedly revealed that he and Javi were back together. He described how Javi had surprised him with a passionate kiss, rekindling old feelings. Marina, though happy for him, urged caution. She reminded Leo that rushing into things hadn’t worked well for him in the past.

“Are you saying my relationship is doomed?” Leo asked, half-joking.

Leo insisted that waiting wasn’t necessary—they had been apart long enough. But Marina suspected he was projecting his excitement as a way to distract from the drama surrounding Belle. She admitted she was just looking out for him. Leo, touched, smiled and said he appreciated having a friend who cared so much.

Wedding Day Uncertainty

Jada woke up feeling uneasy. She confided in Gabby that she wasn’t sure the wedding would even happen. Gabby, trying to lighten the mood, pointed out that Javi had been celebrating just as much as she had. He was currently helping Rafe get ready, which surprised Jada—she hadn’t expected Rafe to enjoy his bachelor party so much.

Stephanie arrived with the bridal team, and Gabby excused herself, saying she had something to take care of. Jada reassured Stephanie that she wasn’t nervous about the wedding.

“I’ve done this before,” she said with a smirk.

She reflected on how her previous marriage hadn’t turned out as planned, but at least it had strengthened her bond with Stephanie. However, as the morning progressed, Jada couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Rafe hadn’t reached out, and she started worrying that he was having second thoughts. Stephanie calmed her down, reminding her that phones work both ways.

Jada admitted Rafe had been acting strange recently. She was also confused about his unexpected business with EJ, especially given their rocky history. Just as she was beginning to overthink everything, her phone rang—it was Rafe.

Apologizing for not calling sooner, he assured her that he couldn’t wait to see her walk down the aisle. Jada’s heart melted, and she was finally able to breathe a little easier.

Meanwhile, Javi stopped by Rafe’s hotel room to drop off breakfast. As he entered, he noticed something was off. Before Rafe could say anything, someone unexpectedly emerged from the bathroom.

Javi was stunned. “What’s going on here?” he demanded.

Rafe fumbled for an explanation, claiming the situation wasn’t what it looked like. However, Javi wasn’t buying it. Eventually, Rafe admitted to making a mistake. Javi was furious—how could Rafe do this the morning of his wedding?

“This isn’t some movie,” Javi snapped. “This is real life, and you’re about to hurt someone who doesn’t deserve it.”

Rafe insisted it was a lapse in judgment and asked Javi to keep quiet. But Javi wasn’t sure if he could. He stormed out, torn between protecting his friend and doing what was right.

Unexpected Twists

At the Horton house, Gabby asked JJ to be her date to the wedding. She played it off as a casual invitation, but JJ recognized that introducing him to her family in this setting was a big step. He happily agreed, seeing it as a sign that their relationship was moving forward.

However, just as things seemed perfect, JJ got a call from work—he had to testify in a court case and wouldn’t be able to attend. He apologized, but Gabby assured him she understood. Before she left, she handed him a slice of cake, joking that he could at least enjoy a taste of the celebration.

A Dangerous Game

Elsewhere, Leo was catching up with Marina when he unexpectedly ran into Javi. To Leo’s surprise, Javi was furious with him, accusing him of stirring up trouble for Jada and Rafe. Leo was completely confused—what had he done?

Meanwhile, across town, EJ had a smug grin as he approached Rafe. Holding up a candle-topped muffin, he taunted him.

“Make a wish,” EJ said, smirking.

Rafe, glaring, muttered under his breath. “I wish you would disappear.”

EJ had other plans. He revealed that Jada’s wedding would go forward—but it wasn’t going to be the happy occasion everyone expected. Soon, the entire town would learn a shocking truth.

Before Rafe could react, EJ continued, outlining a twisted plan that would ensure Jada lost everything—her job, her reputation, and even her future with Rafe. But before he could gloat any further, Rafe lunged at him, sending a hard punch straight into EJ’s jaw.

“This wedding isn’t happening, you son of a—”

EJ hit the ground, unconscious.
