Please join us in saying Ho’omaika’i ‘ana to former The Bold & The Beautiful star Katrina Bowden (ex-Flo), who tied the knot with her musician beau Adam Taylor over the weekend in Hawaii!
The Kalama Beach Club in Taylor’s hometown, Kailua, was the stunning backdrop for the couple’s “intimate and laid-back” ceremony, followed by a lively reception in the ballroom of the nearby Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki, the bride told People. “We decided to have the wedding in two locations because we also really wanted to throw a big fun party for our friends and family,” she shared.
In front of 125 guests, the bride and groom wore traditional Hawaiian leis and exchanged handwritten vows. Local greenery and foliage were incorporated into the beachy nuptials, as well as pops of bright pink and orange in the floral arrangements.
Bowden and Taylor, bassist for the band Iration, were introduced by his bandmate, Drake Peterson, several years ago, so it was only fitting that he officiated the ceremony. A hula dancer and a three-piece acoustic Hawaiian band, Puamana, entertained guests during the cocktail hour. Taylor’s bandmates, guitarists Micah Pueschel and Micah Brown joined Puamana to play the newlyweds’ first dance, “Every Night, Every Morning” by Maoli.
“Adam is my favorite person, and I can’t wait to be stuck with him forever,” said Bowden. “He adds so much love, humor, and joy to my life. He’s such a good friend and such a caring man who respects and loves me how I’ve always wanted to be loved.”
Bowden made her B&B debut as Flo in January 2019. She was involved in multiple front-burner storylines until she last appeared in July 2021, shortly after Flo got engaged to her high school boyfriend, Wyatt.
