Biggests Returns in B&B in 2024
2024 turned out to be a blockbuster year for The Bold and the Beautiful.
We’re talking new faces stirring up drama, fan favorites making epic comebacks, and even a few jaw-dropping crossovers to keep us hooked. This year had it all! So, are you ready to take a stroll through the biggest cast moments of 2024? Let’s dive in and look at the stars who made waves on B&B this year.
Hey everyone, welcome to Tren Street!
Rebecca Budig
This has to be the biggest casting shakeup of all time. When Christa Allen revealed in November 2023 that she was out as Taylor Hayes, fans knew a recast was coming—and The Bold and the Beautiful didn’t disappoint. By August, Rebecca Budig stepped into Taylor’s shoes, and let’s just say the reaction was mixed.
Some even thought Budig looked more like Steffy’s long-lost sister than her mom! But that didn’t stop the Taylor drama from taking center stage. She’s no newbie to soaps either—this is her fourth soap role. You might recognize her as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light, her unforgettable stint as Greenlee Smythe on All My Children (1999–2011), or her time as Hayden Barnes on General Hospital. From mysterious killer to fan favorite, Budig kept the drama alive until her exit in 2019.
With such an impressive track record, it’s clear Budig isn’t just filling Taylor’s shoes—she’s making them her own.
Ashley Brewer
Who doesn’t love Ivy Forrester, am I right? 2024 gave us the ultimate treat by bringing Ivy, played by the stunning and talented Ashley Brewer, back to our screens. And boy, did she make a splash!
The last time we saw Ivy was way back in 2018, when her character packed her bags for Australia after a fiery showdown with Steffy. Fast forward to May this year, and she made her grand comeback. What a return it was! Not only did she openly flirt with single Liam, but she even planted a kiss on him. Let’s just say the move left Liam—and all of us—completely stunned.
Then came October, when Ivy made another comeback, this time with plans to stay and relaunch Forrester Jewelry.
Lanaa Grace
Ivy didn’t come home alone this time—she brought along her niece, Electra Forrester, played by the stunning Lanaa Grace. Electra is the granddaughter of Eric Forrester’s brother, John Forrester, and Grace made her soap debut in October.
Here’s a fun fact: Grace has been in the game for a while! She started her career as a model and actress at a young age and even appeared in the music video for Avicii’s hit Wake Me Up in 2013. Oh, and let’s not forget her first film, 72 Hours, which dropped on November 1st.
Now she’s turning heads as Electra, especially with that sizzling romance with Will Spencer. Grace is definitely making her mark on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Lisa Yamada
Lisa Yamada is quite the name to remember. This young rising star has made headlines with her portrayal of Luna Nozawa. Joining the show last year, fans are already calling Luna the next Sheila Carter in the making—and with good reason!
Luna’s reign of chaos has been jaw-dropping. She’s already racked up a body count, having killed Tom and Hollis, and nearly Steffy as well. And if that wasn’t enough, she even tried to steal her own mother’s man, Bill—who, at least for a time, was her father.
After Luna was sent to prison in August, it seemed like her storyline was officially over. But Yamada made a shocking return in November, and it was definitely worth the wait. With top-tier performances, Luna’s comeback has been one of the most thrilling storylines of the year.
Crew J. Morrow
Before Lanaa Grace made her entrance, B&B introduced its first young star of the year: Crew J. Morrow. If his face looks familiar, that’s because he’s none other than Joshua Morrow’s son—the same Joshua Morrow who plays Nick Newman on The Young and the Restless. Clearly, talent runs in the family!
Crew made his debut on B&B in August as Bill Spencer and Katie Logan’s son, Will Spencer. It didn’t take long for fans to fall for him. From the start, he nailed the role, and his chemistry with Electra is already giving us major puppy-love vibes.
As for Crew, he’s just starting out in acting, with only two films under his belt: Continental Split and 24 Hours to D-Day.
Christian Weissman
Every great story needs a villain, and B&B introduced a new one to stir the pot in Will and Electra’s blossoming romance. Christian Weissman joined the cast as Remy Price, the mysterious guy from Electra’s past.
Turns out Remy wasn’t just a forgotten ex—he was actually her stalker and one of the main reasons she decided to start fresh in Los Angeles. Weissman, known for his roles in Girl Meets World and the Saved by the Bell reboot, is also a talented writer and poet.
Jokull Julius
This year brought plenty of exciting crossovers, and one highlight was Brooke’s Bedroom photo shoot event. Jokull Julius, lead singer of the Icelandic rock band Kaleo, made a cameo as himself and performed their hit song Way Down We Go. The episode aired on September 27th and brought a unique rock touch to the show that fans loved.
Tracy Bregman
Another crossover came from sister show The Young and the Restless. Tracy Bregman, who has played Lauren Fenmore since 1983, brought her iconic rivalry with Sheila Carter back to B&B.
Lauren came to celebrate Sheila’s supposed death, but the celebration was short-lived. It turned out it wasn’t Sheila who died, but rather Sugar, her lookalike.
Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian
No party is complete without an epic performance, and Brooke’s Bedroom relaunch party was no exception. Danny Romalotti, played by Michael Damian, and Christine Blair, played by Lauralee Bell, took a break from their world tour to join the celebration.
Danny rocked the party with performances of his hit songs Rock On and Was It Nothing At All. Needless to say, the ladies of B&B were totally smitten!
