The bruises on Luna’s body looked horrible, and things seemed to have gotten worse recently. He plans to hire the best lawyer to get Luna out of prison. Bill believes that if this situation continues, Luna might lose her life one day. Although she made a mistake, she didn’t deserve to die like this.
Liam immediately intervened when he found out about Bill’s intentions. Liam was worried that Bill was being fooled. He suggested that Luna might have pretended to be pitiful or intentionally provoked others to make herself look miserable. Liam warned Bill that Luna was a dangerous woman and even suspected that she had arranged for her fellow inmates to beat her up.
Luna was known for being very smart, and this was something everyone acknowledged. She hid her darker side well, making it unlikely that she would be bullied so easily. Therefore, it seemed implausible to Liam that Luna could have been beaten so badly without orchestrating the situation herself.

The warden was the person who could provide the most accurate account of what was happening inside the prison. Luna would never have expected Bill to take this approach.
Bill offered the warden a significant sum of money to learn the truth. The warden revealed that Luna had intentionally caused trouble with a gang in the prison, provoking them into beating her up. The warden managed to intervene just in time, but it was clear that Luna was stubborn and had no intention of backing down. In fact, it seemed that Luna wanted to be beaten even more.
Hearing this, Bill realized that Luna was trying to manipulate him. Up until that moment, Luna had shown no signs of regret or guilt. She appeared solely focused on finding a way to trick Bill into helping her get out of prison. Bill, who had almost fallen for her act, was furious.
When Bill confronted Luna, he was filled with anger and vowed never to see her again. His tolerance and sympathy had been wasted on someone who kept plotting against him. If Luna had been honest with Bill from the beginning, things might have turned out differently.
