CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Eric knows about Brooke being criticized by Ridge, even though she had good intentions to help the Forrester family regain Forrester Creations.
Eric understands Brooke’s personality and her deep feelings for Ridge. In addition, she values loyalty, which is why she acted secretly and then reported to Ridge later. Eric is extremely angry with Ridge because Ridge’s hot temper has made the opportunity to get Forrester Creations back even more difficult.
Steffy has Carter’s trust, and if Ridge knew how to take advantage of that, everything would be much easier. Unfortunately, Ridge missed an opportunity that is hard to find again.
Eric decides to go directly to Brooke. He sincerely apologizes to her for Ridge insulting her. Ridge is Eric’s son, but Eric feels helpless because he cannot seem to guide Ridge better. He advised Ridge, and perhaps Ridge is now repenting for his behavior.
Eric also tells Brooke that he has always considered her a part of his family. He has consistently advised Ridge to cherish Brooke, as he believes she is more suitable for Ridge than Taylor. These words make Brooke emotional, as she has always respected Eric.
A Moment of Weakness
Eric’s treatment of Brooke never disappointed her. In an emotional moment, Eric and Brooke kiss and end up in bed together. Brooke and Eric had been together in the past, but their relationship ended peacefully, and they remained friends.
Now, as they confide in one another, special feelings arise again, and neither can resist. They feel extremely ashamed for betraying Donna—Brooke’s sister and Eric’s wife. Donna has always been good to both Brooke and Eric, which only deepens their guilt.
They promise to keep this a secret as it seems to be the only way to avoid hurting Donna. However, in this show, no secret stays hidden forever.
Donna Learns the Truth
Donna, who knows Eric better than anyone, quickly senses something is wrong. Eventually, she uncovers the truth and is furious. Donna has been through so much with Eric—when he was seriously ill, she took care of him without asking for anything in return.
Now, Donna feels deeply betrayed. She decides to divorce Eric and vows never to forgive Brooke. Donna’s anger toward Brooke runs even deeper because she never imagined her sister would betray her like this.
