Fans are going to want to have their tissues handy because this week’s General Hospital spoilers show Port Charles saying an emotional farewell to Sam. But it’s not all bad news because Lulu finally regains consciousness!
Sam’s friends and family have gathered together at the church for her funeral. “Help us to honor Samantha by living with purpose and hope,” the priest tells those assembled. “Inspire us through the legacy she left.” Alexis has her daughters sitting on either side of her for support, and Danny is seated up front next to Dante and his siblings, Scout and Rocco.
Emotions are running high at the memorial service, and Danny unleashes his anger and frustration on Lucas. “You’re the one who let my mother die!” he shouts. Lucas has already been wrestling with his own guilt in his sister’s death, wondering if there was something he missed or could have done to save her. So hearing his nephew accuse him directly sends him reeling.
Sam died after selflessly undergoing surgery to transplant part of her liver into Lulu to save her life. And although she passed away from complications, Lulu has accepted the new tissue and is recovering nicely. Laura is thrilled her daughter is doing well, but wishes she would wake up so they don’t have to send her back to a long-term care facility. Well, it looks like she’s getting her wish because Lulu suddenly opens her eyes!
