While Jordan is dead set on making all the Newmans suffer, Ian, however, is mostly targeting Sharon and her family. Since he’s already done his big one with Sharon, he’s now moving on to her daughter, Mariah. And as he clearly said, he wants to see her suffer.
But then, recently, things got unsettling fast at Crimson Lights on The Young and the Restless. Ian Ward—yes, that Ian Ward—decided to make a rare appearance and just so happened to show up while Mariah was there. Coincidence? Maybe. Creepy? Definitely.
Even without knowing he was lurking, Mariah felt the chill—you know, the kind that screams danger is near. Could that spine-tingling moment be a hint of the storm brewing ahead?
Let’s not forget who we’re dealing with here.
Ian is the OG master manipulator who once controlled Mariah’s entire life. We’re talking about a man who stole her as a baby, brainwashed her into thinking she was his daughter, and then had the audacity to plan for her to become his wife. Gross, right? The man is twisted.
Mariah eventually broke free from his evil clutches, but trauma like that doesn’t just vanish. So the idea of Ian popping back into her life? That’s just a long nightmare.
What if Ian’s back with an agenda—and not just any agenda?
One that targets not only Mariah but baby Arya too.
Think about it: Ian is the kind of guy who doesn’t let go of obsessions, and Mariah was his ultimate project. Could it be that he’s plotting to finish what he started by snatching Arya and raising her as his new “Mariah 2.0”?
Imagine this:
Ian, in his new disguise, keeps his eye on Mariah and Tessa at the park. The moms are busy being adorable with their little one when, in a split second, Ian swoops in and Arya’s gone.
It’s every parent’s worst fear. And knowing Ian, he’d pull it off without leaving a trace.
From that moment, the Newmans, the Abbotts, and every other powerful family in Genoa City would join forces for the ultimate rescue mission.
Victor would unleash his full power—you name it: private investigators, helicopters, and probably some secret government contacts, because why not?
The hunt for Arya would take over the town, leaving everyone on edge. But we doubt anybody would even suspect Ian at first. He’s like a ghost—impossible to track or see and always three steps ahead.
The only person who knows he’s even in town is evil Aunt Jordan. And let’s be real—she’s no snitch. In fact, she’s his accomplice, helping him pull off this twisted plan.
Can you imagine Ian and Jordan hitting the road with Arya?
He’d be fantasizing about raising her to be his little protégée, just like he tried (and failed) with Mariah. Meanwhile, everyone else is in full panic mode, searching everywhere.
So, will Ian kidnap baby Arya?
If Ian’s plan is as sinister as we’re imagining, it’s bound to shake things up for everyone.
