Jordan was a master of evasion and manipulation, always staying one step ahead of her enemies. Even Victor Newman, with his vast resources and razor-sharp instincts, couldn’t pin her down.
For months, she had been watching him from the shadows, anticipating his every move and thwarting his attempts to uncover her location. Victor had managed to intercept a conversation between CLA, Jordan’s trusted confidant, and another party, but the information was vague and unverified. Jordan’s network of misinformation was working perfectly, and Victor knew better than to act on incomplete intel.
Jordan’s next target, however, was far more personal. She had set her sights on Victoria Newman—Victor’s pride and joy, his Achilles heel. It was a bold and dangerous move, but one that Jordan believed would force Victor to his knees.
Victor’s Suspicion: A Fragile Alliance
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman, Victoria, and CLA had formed a tenuous alliance, united by their shared goal of defeating Jordan. But Victor, ever the strategist, remained skeptical of CLA’s loyalty to him.
“CLA is an unpredictable wild card,” Victor warned Nikki one evening as they discussed their plans. “Don’t trust her too much. She’s young, ambitious, and dangerously close to Jordan. I wouldn’t put it past her to play both sides.”
Nikki frowned. “She’s been helping us, Victor. We can’t fight Jordan without her.”
Victor’s eyes narrowed. “Helping us, or feeding Jordan everything she learns from us? Don’t let your guard down, Nikki. CLA is a liability.”
